All manner of ceremonies are performed, including marriage (Jen is an ordained interfaith minister and licensed officiant), commitment, rites of passage, birth, death, home and land clearing and blessings.
My wife and I are both spiritual and not religious, and we immediately agreed that there could be no one else that we would wish to marry us. Because of her intimate knowledge of us both (separately), the ceremony was very personal and enlightening. To her credit, Jen requested that we both meet with her a few weeks prior for some marriage counseling and a deeper look at our relationship. This helped bring up certain themes in a light that neither of us had considered previously and she strongly encouraged us to reflect and communicate further so we each fullyunderstood the other’s perception of what marriage embodies. The ceremony itself combined spiritual aspects along with very personal insights and vows, thereby providing a deeper meaning to each and every word spoken.
