SHAMAN AND SHADOW: Discovering the Treasures of Darkness

Join me for a 6 week deep dive into the lumen naturae, the light of darkness itself.

Most of us associate Shadow with the parts of ourselves we find unlovable, unattractive or somehow shameful, but this is only one piece of Shadow’s extraordinary landscape. We are all carrying gifts that we’ve yet to discover that are buried deep within us. When we hold the “rejected” parts of us with compassionate curiosity, courage and presence, we can drop down into the light that lies within. The Shadow is energy, and it is energy asking for integration. Carl Jung believed that Shadow, rather than being something to reject, is 80-90% pure gold. When we integrate the dark with Truth and deep compassion,  Shadow offers us the gifts of wholeness, creativity, integrity and profound acceptance of our humanity.

We will be exploring the shadow through the eyes of the shaman -the eyes of the heart that can see in deepest darkness- as well as through somatic practice, guided journeys, interactive exercises and creative expression.

Come with courage, with vulnerability, and most of all, come with your heart. This will be an intimate group and a very safe container. We are adventurers pioneering in our own intimate terrain.
